Teachers

Kirsty Taylor

Kirsty gained her BTDA teaching certificates in Tap and Modern before completing three years professional dance and teacher training at the Theatre School of Dance and Drama. There she studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing, and qualified as a RAD Ballet teacher and ISTD Tap and Modern teacher.

Kirsty has been teaching for 15 years during which time she has choreographed various amateur children and adult shows including: Hogg Street, Annie, and Oklahoma. She started up her own dancing school, (The Alexander Academy of Dance) 10 years ago, but has recently sold it in order to spend more time with her family.


Fiona Carpenter

Fiona trained for the fitness industry through completion of her HNC in Fitness, Health and Exercise. She then trained as a yoga teacher with Yoga Scotland and currently offers adult classes and also parent and child classes. She hopes to offer a much wider range of classes in the future so - watch this space!

Fiona is continuing her training as a dance teacher with Catriona and will start her first classes with us this year.

Stacey Christie

Stacey trained as a professional dancer and teacher at Telford College. She went on to open her own dance shop 'Dancia International' on South Clerk Street Edinburgh.

Stacey has danced and further trained with Catriona for a year and will be teaching her first classes for us this year.
